Dr. Tess Rowlands
YogaDr. Tess fell in love with yoga while in college as a way to help her handle the mental stressors of her coursework demands. This continued through undergrad and graduate school. Once she realized she wanted to specialize in Pelvic Health Physical Therapy, she instantly saw a huge connection to the importance of using breath and controlled movement to help calm the nervous system, especially for her patients with chronic orthopedic and pelvic pain symptoms. Dr. Tess found a local studio that put emphasis on taking a trauma-informed approach to teaching yoga and completed her 250-Hour Yoga Teacher Training to further add to her ability to help her patients. She believes a trauma-informed approach to yoga includes helping her students connect their breath to movement in a way they feel serves their bodies, leaving behind any poses or breath work that doesn’t feel right for them. Tess beilieves her students should have total autonomy on anything they do on their mats, she is simply there to educate and guide.

Nahleen Salvador
MobilityMy love of movement sparked when I started training in the Filipino martial art of Kali. I fell in love with the strength and power that I built through my practice along with the grace and fluidity of the movement. I have a dance background and hold a masters degree in exercise physiology. I have been a certified personal trainer for over 15 years and am a new Stott Pilates reformer instructor. I enjoy teaching and mobility is one of my favorite things to incorporate into sessions with my clients. I take a coaching approach when working with individuals and groups to help guide each person along on their own movement discovery. I have worked with a variety of clients but my favorite is working with women in helping to keep the body strong and mobile. I believe that everyone knows their body best, and I love to be the one to guide you!
